About Shane Smith and the Saints

The band's journey began in Austin, Texas, where they became one of the most sought-after acts on the scene by playing hour-long live sets in small clubs. They are characterized by their distinctive style that blurs the lines between genres. SHANE SMITH & THE SAINTS combine diverse influences: from folk to classic rock to atmospheric indie, they create a powerful, multi-faceted sound that is carried by SHANE SMITH's distinctive baritone voice - raw, honest and full of emotion.

With their album “Hail Mary” (2019), they laid the foundation for their unmistakable sound - intense and boundless. Their album “Norther”, released in March 2024, takes this development to a new level. Named after the north winds that blow over Texas in winter, the album is anything but monotonous. Recorded during short breaks between tour stops, it perfectly captures the raw energy of their live shows. Songs like the rousing “1000 Wild Horses”, the rocking “Fire in the Sky” and the soulful ballad “All the Way” show the band at their strongest. This connection to the stage and the audience is at the heart of their music. “We've conquered our audience night after night, song after song,” says Shane Smith. “This journey has given us not just fans, but a family.”

Now SHANE SMITH & THE SAINTS are coming to Cologne with their unmistakable combination of passion, musical diversity and unbridled energy - and invite the audience to become part of this extraordinary journey and experience a concert experience that gets under your skin.
