Danny Kiranos, better known as Amigo The Devil, is a rare specimen of his trade: he writes and sings about mass murderers, pyromaniacs, suicides or liars and his own doomsday fantasies. The 35-year-old from Florida has not only challenged folk or country purists and rock/heavy metal fans alike, but has also gained a loyal fan base in the USA with his morbid, strangely romantic ‘monster folk’.
