About King 810
King 810 are among the most idiosyncratic voices in modern nu metal. Founded in 2007 in Flint, Michigan, a city marked by economic crisis, the band developed a distinctive artistic identity early on. Their sound combines brutal metal riffs with alternative rock, experimental hip-hop, electronica, and dark, almost jazzy elements—uncompromising and stylistically conscious outside of conventional scene codes.
King 810 made their breakthrough in 2012 with the EP Midwest Monsters, followed by the highly acclaimed debut album Memoirs Of A Murderer. Instead of repeating themselves, the band constantly sought new forms of expression: the mixtape Midwest Monsters 2 was created in collaboration with DJ Drama and bridged the gap between rap and metal, while La Petite Mort Or A Conversation With God further deepened their artistic aspirations.
