Heavy metal legends Saxon regret to announce the cancellation of 10 summer concerts and festival appearances due to singer Biff Byford undergoing an urgent medical procedure. This also affects the date on July 29th in Oberhausen at the Turbinenhalle. Tickets will be refunded where they were purchased.
Saxon were the leaders of the new wave of British heavy metal (NWOBHM), having four UK Top 10 albums and two Top 5 albums in the 1980s and establishing themselves as one of the most successful metal bands in Europe. Despite a 44-year career with over 15 million albums sold and hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide, Saxon are preparing for one of their busiest years yet.
