Following stellar performances as special guests to Judas Priest on their recent sold-out European tour, Saxon return with the announcement of their own extensive European tour.
On the “Hell, Fire And Steel” European tour, the band will not only play songs from their recently released album Hell, Fire And Damnation, but also the entire classic second album Wheels Of Steel (which has its 45th anniversary next year), as well as other fan favorites and hits from the band's entire career. The European tour kicks off on February 4 in Bremen (Aladin Music-Hall) and will also make stops in Germany in Hamburg (February 17, Docks), Munich (February 25, Muffathalle), Erfurt (March 1, Central), Berlin (March 4, Huxleys Neue Welt) and Leipzig (March 5, Haus Auensee). The presale via CTS and myticket starts on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 10 am.
Saxon were the leaders of the new wave of British heavy metal (NWOBHM), having four UK Top 10 albums and two Top 5 albums in the 1980s and establishing themselves as one of the most successful metal bands in Europe. Despite a 44-year career with over 15 million albums sold and hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide, Saxon are preparing for one of their busiest years yet.
