The legendary rock band returns to its German fans for five concerts in 2024.
The SCORPIONS have only just started their Love at First Sting Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood when the legendary rock band already has big news for their German fans.
The rock and roll princes PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS will be special guests at all shows in Germany. The band of longtime MOTÖRHEAD guitarist Phil Campbell released their third album Kings Of The Asylum last fall via Nuclear Blast and delivers heavy riffs and heavy rock par excellence. Hard rock fans can therefore look forward to a historic reunion of the two Motörhead legends Mickey Dee (former Motörhead drummer, Scorpions since 2016) and Phil Campbell!
"Hard rock is alive", stated the Süddeutsche Zeitung after the SCORPIONS' acclaimed gig on their 2023 world tour at the concert in Munich, while DIE ZEIT reported on the gig in Hanover: "Loud, guitar-heavy songs from 'Big City Nights' to 'Gas in the Tank' from the new album 'Rock Believer' dominated." After the concert in Dortmund, the WAZ reported: "SCORPIONS deliver brilliant tour kick-off". And "Powermetal" noted in Berlin: "Music and above all Klaus' voice are great. No matter what the guys come up with live, it's strong!" However, there was one unanimous criticism: the rockers had to leave some cities with a strong fan base out of their 2023 tour. "That had to be due to time constraints," says SCORPIONS singer Klaus Meine, "but we took the fans' voices to heart and factored them into the planning for 2024. Now we're coming to the rock fans in September!"
The SCORPIONS also have a very special surprise in store: "We will be presenting our brand new show to our fans in Germany to celebrate 40 years of 'Love at First Sting'," reveals Klaus Meine. The album brought the rock band incredible success worldwide and a wealth of iconic songs. "The Scorpion will really take the sting out of it again for the German fans," says Klaus Meine.
