Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox

Magic and Moonlight Tour 2025

Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox announce two dates in Germany as part of the ‘MAGIC & MOONLIGHT’ world tour 2025.

The retro music collective Postmodern Jukebox (PMJ) has just played its 1,000th show and has now announced two German shows on its ‘MAGIC & MOONLIGHT’ world tour 2025. The group will perform in Hanover (Theater am Aegi) on 13 June and in Karlsruhe (Konzerthaus) on 15 June, having already played twelve concerts in Germany in 2024 as part of their 10th anniversary tour. Tickets will be on presale from Wednesday, 25 September 2024 at CTS and myticket.

‘If we've learnt anything in ten years of touring the world, it's that great music has the ability to transcend time and space in a way that is best described as ‘magic’,’ says Scott Bradlee, creator and show director of Postmodern Jukebox. ‘In fact, we probably all have a song or two that instantly transports us to another place. Our Moonlight & Magic world tour is designed to celebrate this phenomenon through breathtaking live performances that will be remembered long after the curtain comes down.’

Concertgoers can look forward to immersing themselves in a parallel musical universe where modern catchy tunes and legendary pop hits alike are reinterpreted in classic genres such as 1920s jazz, swing, doo-wop and Motown and brought to life by some of the world's best singers, dancers and instrumentalists. Imagine: ‘The Great Gatsby’ meets ‘Sinatra at the Sands’ meets ‘Back! ... to the future’.

About Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox

When pianist Scott Bradlee launched the time-warping music collective in a basement apartment in Queens, New York, a "viral" online success story was born that quickly led to sold-out shows across North America and Europe in the summer of 2014. The tour received rave reviews from both trade magazines and world-renowned artists. In the years that followed, "PMJ" earned a reputation as "Saturday Night Live for singers" by introducing audiences to dozens of extraordinary musicians, many of whom had previously been overlooked by the modern record industry, and turning them into bona fide stars.

Ten years and two billion views of their YouTube channel later, the Postmodern Jukebox show has become something of an annual music tradition for hundreds of thousands of loyal fans around the world - fans who often show up in their old clothes to share in the experience. "By the end of 2023, PMJ will have played 937 shows in 44 countries on 5 continents," says Bradlee, who creates the musical arrangements and directs the shows. "This longevity in an industry that is notoriously volatile was completely unexpected for us. There is no secret formula, just an obsession with classical sounds and a commitment to showcasing phenomenal talent. We continue to be honored by the support of our audiences for this project, which continues to inspire us and push us to new artistic heights. It's the perfect marriage, and our 10th anniversary tour will be a celebration."
