About Tenside / Aurorawave

TENSIDE are among the most enduring and internationally successful representatives of German modern metal. Over the years, the band has built a loyal global fanbase through intensive touring, high-profile festival appearances, and an unmistakable sound—all while never losing the hunger that has defined them from the very beginning.

Their 2024 album Come Alive Dying marks another highlight in the band’s history: No. 6 on the German album charts, international chart placements, and a sound that blends modern metal with emotional depth and technical precision. Live, TENSIDE have shared the stage with acts like Five Finger Death Punch, Trivium, and Killswitch Engage—and have proven themselves at festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze, and With Full Force, as well as on international stages in China, Japan, and South America.

With the Devour The Dark Across Europe Tour 2026, TENSIDE once again demonstrate that they are not standing still: the collaboration with AURORAWAVE and the joint single “Receiver Of The Dark 2.0” open a new chapter—both creatively and sonically. A band that knows where it comes from and knows exactly where it’s going.
