About The Psychedelic Furs
Founded in London at the end of the 1970s, The Psychedelic Furs became a permanent fixture on the international indie and alternative scene with songs such as Love My Way, Pretty In Pink, Heaven and The Ghost In You. Their influence ranges from college radio and movie soundtracks to the stylistic foundations of later Britpop.
After a lengthy studio break, the Furs returned in 2020 with the acclaimed album Made of Rain - their first new work in almost 30 years. The album reached chart positions worldwide, including number 13 in the UK Top 20, and was included in numerous annual best lists. In terms of sound, it is a seamless continuation of the classic Furs sound: lyrically profound, atmospherically dense and produced with a dark elegance.
The band also remains a live event: with acclaimed performances at the Glastonbury Festival, the Hollywood Bowl, the Royal Albert Hall or Radio City Music Hall, The Psychedelic Furs prove time and again that their music not only lasts for generations - but is also brought to the stage more thrillingly than ever.
