About Bruce Dickinson
‘The Mandrake Project’ is Dickinson's seventh solo album and his first since 2005's “Tyranny Of Souls” and was released worldwide in various formats on 1 March via BMG. Bruce Dickinson and his long-time songwriting partner and producer Roy Z have created one of the seminal rock albums of 2024 with ten imaginative, expansive and captivating tracks. Heavy in sound and rich in musical textures, Bruce Dickinson brings to life a musical vision he's been working on for a long time and offers some of the best vocal performances of his career.
Most of the recording took place at the Doom Room in Los Angeles, with Roy Z acting as both guitarist and bassist. The line-up for ‘The Mandrake Project’ was completed by keyboard maestro Mistheria and drummer Dave Moreno, both of whom also appeared on Bruce's last solo studio album ‘Tyranny Of Souls’ from 2005.
