UK & Europe tour dates announced. 5 shows in Germany in June/July 2024.
It is the first number 1 position in Germany for Bruce Dickinson as a solo artist: ‘The Mandrake Project’ sensationally enters the German album charts at number 1. The album had already received great international reviews in the weeks before. The videos for the pre-release singles ‘Afterglow Of Ragnarok’ and ‘Rain On The Graves’ have now cracked the one million views mark on YouTube.
‘The Mandrake Project’ is Dickinson's seventh solo album and his first since ‘Tyranny Of Souls’ in 2005 and was released worldwide in various formats on 1 March via BMG. Bruce Dickinson and his long-time songwriting partner and producer Roy Z have created one of the seminal rock albums of 2024 with ten imaginative, expansive and captivating tracks. Heavy in sound and rich in musical textures, Bruce Dickinson brings to life a musical vision he's been working on for a long time and offers some of the best vocal performances of his career.
Most of the recording took place at the Doom Room in Los Angeles, with Roy Z acting as both guitarist and bassist. The line-up for ‘The Mandrake Project’ was completed by keyboard maestro Mistheria and drummer Dave Moreno, both of whom also appeared on Bruce's last solo studio album ‘Tyranny Of Souls’ from 2005.
Bruce Dickinson and his phenomenal band will bring the music of ‘The Mandrake Project’ to life with a major headline tour this spring and summer. The live band now consists of two guitarists - Philip Naslund and Chris Declercq - as well as drummer Dave Moreno, bassist Tanya O'Callaghan and keyboard maestro Mistheria. Most of the German dates (Berlin, Hamburg and Munich) are already sold out and the show in Cologne, which has been moved up to the Palladium due to high demand, is also running out of tickets. So if you want to experience the number 1 album live, you'd better hurry.
